American Institute's School of Wellness and Beauty Offers the Following Programs:

Massage Therapy

Our massage therapy program prepares students with the skills necessary to be able to pursue employment in the field of massage therapy. At American Institute you can earn your diploma in as little as eight (8) months. We offer day and evening classes to assist our students with flexible scheduling. In addition to learning the basics of massage therapy, students will also study specialized areas of massage including Swedish massage, deep-tissue massage, sports massage, and reflexology.

Our programs provide students with the skills, knowledge and hands-on training needed to be able to take the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam. However, American Institute can’t promise or guarantee passage of the exam.

Cosmetology

Our cosmetology program gives students the knowledge, skills and hands-on training they need to be competitive in the beauty industry. In addition to learning how to cut, color, and style all types of hair, students also learn skin care and nail technology.

This program also prepares students for the state licensing exam but American Institute can’t promise or guarantee passage of the exam.

Your cosmetology training with American Institute can be completed in as little as twelve (12) months. Those who choose evening classes may complete the program in as little as eighteen (18) months.

Medical Assistant

Our medical assistant program provides students with the knowledge, skills and hands-on training needed to perform clinically and administratively as a medical assistant. In addition to studying anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, students at American Institute also complete an external externship with an outside medical facility which gives our students a real world experience before they even graduate.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be qualified to interview for positions in a variety of healthcare facilities.
